There is a little puddle that is made by rain that will tell you when it's raining.....

Today it is almost river like going across the driveway

It hasn’t stopped raining for two weeks.

I’m honestly amazed by the drainage in this region. Very few roads ponding.

A deepening Pacific low will make its way across Washington state today. Abundant moisture associated with the low will result in very heavy wet snow over East Vancouver Island. For communities south of Comox, local snowfall amounts up to 15 cm are possible before the precipitation tapers off this afternoon.

For Greater Victoria, there is the potential for local snowfall accumulations of 5 cm near sea level while higher terrain could see amounts up to 15 cm. Rainfall amounts of up to 40 mm are also expected. The heavy precipitation will end by early this evening as the low moves to the east.
