Getting Lemela and Willian + a good chunk of cash is better than Bale. I love the guy and immensely sad to see him leave and will probably break my heart to see him holding a Real Madrid shirt, but we won't be an injury away from a crisis anymore. Hell of a transfer window for us though; Soldado (finally a striker to replace Berbatov!), Paulinho (damn good box to box midfielder), Chadli (winger depth/Lennon competition), Capoue (CDM depth and is HUGE. Was amazing as sub vs Palace), and the likely additions of Lemela and Willian. Probably in the market for a CB and a LB as well as potentially a young striker. All I know is that I'd much rather have had this window than the window Arsenal are having.

A REPENTANT Scotland fan is to get a tribute to Kenny Miller tattooed on his *backside after a tweet came back to bite him on the bum.

Ryan Pearson was so sure that the Vancouver Whitecaps striker would fail to score against England on Wednesday that he went on Twitter to say: “If Kenny Miller scores the night, I’ll get ‘Kenny Miller, Goal Machine’ tattooed on ma a***!”

Ryan, from Falkirk, turned out to be the only member of the Tartan Army left *heartbroken when the former Old Firm hero curled a left-footed shot past Joe Hart to put Gordon Strachan’s side 2-1 up at Wembley.

The hospital worker’s message, which had gone almost unnoticed, was then retweeted more than 900 times.

He has been left with no option but to be true to his word, no matter how much of a pain in the backside it may be.

Ryan, 20, told the Record: “When I posted it on Twitter I did so thinking there was no way he’d score.

“I didn’t think he’d done much for *Scotland recently and hadn’t been playing well, so I thought I was safe saying it.

“When he scored, I started celebrating like everyone else.

“But about a minute or so later, everyone in our group started looking at me. Then I remembered what I’d posted.

“I just thought, ‘Oh no’.”

Some Twitter users have been *recommending tattoo parlours and others demanded to see the finished picture, which will feature Miller’s face.

Asked how his parents felt, Ryan said: “They are laughing and they say they think it’s hilarious but deep down, they really just think I’m an idiot.

“The fact we didn’t even draw makes it a wee bit harder to take.”
