When I was 16 and playing baseball, our team was in a senior Babe Ruth league (apropos since Ohtani is the modern day babe ruth and they should change the name of the organization lol) tournament on Vancouver Island (Duncan). We played a team from Seattle (King County all stars) and we knew we were going to get pummeled from warmup.

On the side bullpen warming up pregame was a kid that was a 6'7 right hander (whos face was the spitting image of Paul from tv show Wonder Years - lol) throwing heat (low 90's) and I can remember one teammate was Mr Positive saying "thats ok guys we're loaded with right side hitters... all we gotta do is put bat to ball".
So they take the field for warmup and the big guy takes to the mound ... and is warming up throwing lefty throwing just as hard They destroyed us and we were 1 hit and we ended up in a mini brawl that game and I can remember an old gramma in the stands saying post game "these city kids sure do swear a lot"
