went to a Canucks game last week, paid $24 for ONE beer.
the tipping option on the card machine started at 18%. fuck that.

the co-workers I went with were very grateful that I recommended a place to pre-game that had $21 pitchers.

since they cant beat the Costco hot dog down the block they should have gone with a $7.50 hotdog and the $2.50 beer

but for how long. I will admit everything he is doing is sitting well with me to come back more often. My nephew and I have plans for several games this upcoming year.

I think the Lions are likely a playoff team again next season even with the departure of Rourke, if they put out an entertaining product on the field, I think the fans will continue to support the Leos.

I saw Farhan Lalji tweeted about his son Lukas football exploits yesterday at a throwing camp with Nathan Rourke. I hadnt previously seen that his kid enrolled at Lynden High school in Washington to play football.

He was a good hockey player ... and I recall last spring Farhan tweeted about the decision to pay (through the nose) or not to pay for his son to join a hockey academy locally. Guess he chose football ... best of luck to him ...already 5'11 at 14 and looks like he has a good arm.

Grabbing a beer for $5 at BC Place is now a reality, as the stadium announced a new, more affordable menu that also includes hotdogs and nachos. However, for fans looking to get their hands on the cheaper treats it might be a bit of a walk. The more affordable refreshments are only available at Dawson’s Hot Dogs stands in sections 201 and 227.



BC Place says it is a pilot project, and the menu was created in collaboration with Sodexo Live! “The pilot project was launched in an effort to make the stadium experience more accessible, providing classic fare at a low price,” the venue says.
