OT: British Open

Got up early to watch Tiger, Sergio, and friends this morning.

Tiger looks fantastic so far. Hitting fairways, making putts. This could be #16.

And Tiger birdies the hardest hole on the course - #6, 492-yard par 4, scoring average of 4.7 so far. He now has the lead at -3.

Well, I feel overdressed for this thread. It's a golf tournament people, put some damn clothes on!

Looks like Scott is going to keep it together. He's been aggressive and fantastic this weekend.

Tiger has to be going crazy, he's been so close this year and is playing much better, but doesn't quite have that "charge" yet.

I am honestly sitting here shocked. I'm very happy for Ernie (I just played his first American course like a month ago), but jesus, Adam won't be able to sleep for a month.

Els is such a class act. If you saw his face when he heard the crowd after Scott missed, you could tell he felt more bad for Scott than he was happy for himself.

It's tough playing golf with both hands around your throat.

That three-footer that lipped out on Scott was the killer down the stretch. Bad break on 18 finding the bunker like he did, but he hit a great shot to give himself a chance at a playoff. I thought he hit a pretty good putt that just burned the edge. Ernie poured in the birdie putt on 18 (if that doesn't go in, it's likely six feet past the hole).
