Tough place to win and on hottest day ever we never trailed...defense held them scoreless 3 of 4 quarters....good effort all around

Good win and nice game plan; especially with the heat. I screamed at the TV on 4 offensive calls that were plane offensive:

1. Last drive of first half (had a good drive going), it was 3rd and long and we decided to bring in two tight ends and run the ball.
2. First drive of the second half (had a good drive going), it was 3rd and 4 and we decided to run the ball with the defense setup for the run.
3. The next drive was the reverse pitch; worst call of the year.
4. It was 4th quarter and only 5:40 left and we had a 3rd and long. The only call was to run the ball and kill the clock (and maybe pickup a lucky first down), but we throw and give the Cowboys even more time on the clock.

PS Amazing we can't find one person to catch / field a punt
PSS Dreamius should be getting more carries
PSSS Love Worley's effort, but not sure why he was biting on one of the last throws and receiver was wide open. Could have been a big play for OSU and put them back into the game late.

With all of the above said, far less dumb mistakes, penalties, and more nastiness running the ball and stopping the run. Like how the team is evolving.

I like how our team has gotten much tougher this year. I agree on your play call critique, specially the ill played end around, great that we got the road win, proud of how everyone learned from last year, from the HC to the water boy has got much better.

Dad - sit down, because I am going to agree 100%.

Tougher; physically and more importantly mentally. Before the season, I thought it was good that we got Bama and OU early in the season; I'm not so sure now. The team believes it can win and has no problems mashing or playing video football. OSU did a great job take away sideline throws and seams (except the Alford TD). With all that said, next week will be crazy with TCU in our house.

A great win in a tough venue. Just got done watching the recording of the game. My daughter played in a sectional field hockey game today. Unfortunately her team did not fare as well as the Mounties.

Great job by the defense once again. Not sure why WVU's passing game struggled at times, but it was a TEAM win. All 3 sides came to play...minus one punt return error.

Saw the game up close. It was very hot, broke temperatures for that time of year in Stillwater. Must have been over 100 on the field it was over 90 in thestands. I thought WVU came out firing well, but then settled down and appeared Clint was off the mark a little at times he must have over thrown Kevin White 3or 4 times in the game. Clint might have been off the mark a little but nothingcompared to the other QB. There were several blown coverage’s down field but the OK St QB did not hit the receivers (thankfully). WVU's defense was playing really good throughout the whole second half. That freshman (#6 Henry) played a really good game. When he made that last pick 6 the stadium emptied pretty quickly.

One thing about the OK St fans they were very nice to talk to and minglewith, before and after the game. It was really crazy there in Stillwater since it was homecoming game. They take that stuff pretty seriously. Believe me when I say this to all OK St fans (with all due respect) they can be loud at times, but nothing like the Mountaineer fans can be in their home stadium (or Bowlgame for that matter). Overall we had a great time in Stillwater. GoMountaineers!!!
