may as well be the GDT thread for tomorrow. maybe Dash can add GDT at the end

Higgins is NOT demoted to the 4th line. a lot of radio is saying he is being punished. NO he is a good teammate and will play hard no matter where he is. Raymond is also NOT getting a promotion or a reward. He is getting every chance to be a regular contributor so we can win in the playoffs.

3rd line was bad last game. Higgins helps any line add jump, in the same way that Burrows seems to.
or maybe they are punishng Booth / kelser by giving them Raymond :caked:

Chicago is running 8-1-1 coming into the game. Canucks had BETTER be awake for it.
I'm a little concerned so many of them are tweeting from the beach today. assholes.

It's difficult but my suggestion as stated for a couple weeks now is watch fewer Canucks games lol. Or at the least watch less intently. They don't give a shit right now... Why should we?

Last night was tough because nothing else was on tv so I ended up watching what the Canucks were serving up and that was a real shit sammich

The only real worry that I have now is that henrik is playing injured and has been for quite some time

yes but if you'll recall, they weren't able to flip a switch in October either.
Started the season with an uninspired 2W 4L. took until Nov 23 (21 games) to finally get more W than L.
Not as much wiggle room in April.

anywho, they get the benefit of the doubt for a while, but man will I be pissed if they shit the bed in round 1.

And I'd say they couldn't flip the switch coming off preseason because a lot of them didn't get enough game time together as a unit not to mention Kesler was out and Marco sturm was in the top 6

Their effort level has been noticeably lower for a long while now
Last year taught them the season was a marathon not a sprint
2nd place in the west is almost guaranteed
Let the teams battling for 7th and 8th work their bags off. Its a concerted effort for the Canucks to stay fresh right now

he hasn't shown anything yet to show that he is willing to be tough for a series against the hawks. maybe this game will bring it out. I understand that there is some feeling out time but that time is dwindling to what we need to about 10 games left now.

i think he is just reflective of the way the rest of the team is taking things right now ... if the stars are going through the motions and its obvious they dont care ... its kind of tough for Kassian to amp it up ... this game could be the perfect tonic
