US gets Slovakia first game. Hossa, Handzous, Kopecky, Chara and Halak in net. Got alot of their KHL and Russian hockey guys too.

I don't have a good feeling for Sochi, too much could go wrong. 50/50 that the mens ice hockey tournament will even finish with NHL players. All it takes is 1 incident and Bettman pulls the players back. Watch Germany or Switzerland win the gold, they don't rely too heavily on NHL talent.

they are saying canada's hotel arrangements are three players per room, showers that dont work, toilets with three chairs in front of them, one reporter said they lost their room key, they could not get a replacement, the hotel changed the door for one that had a key.

You gotta think "jaded" professionals are not gonna do too well with these living arrangements.
