Would be a good get.

His family is shit however.

Assume UM will need to hire his leach older brother in some capacity.

He can coordinate treats for sleepover night.

He's visiting on the 9th but I don't think there's any chance of it happening unless his appeal against the NCAA eligibility rules actually goes through and he's eligible this year. There's no way he comes here if he has to sit out a year.

now that we've lost Speight, depth at the position is once again a concern. So more QB's on the roster is good.

I'm hearing they think he won't have to sit out. Can play ASAP. That's the hot rumor.

Ole Miss's ban allows all players to transfer without having to sit out a year.

I believe the Ole Miss ban allows ALL current Rebels to leave without having to sit a year out.

Ole Miss coaches lied to recruits about the severity of the upcoming NCAA sanctions

I like Patterson, though I'm a bit worried it could make Peters unhappy and potentially transfer. I don't think it'll affect McCaffrey too much. Michigan really doesn't have a lot of depth at QB right now with Speight and Malzone transfering and O'Korn graduating.

I think it is just seniors.

That's why Shea and others are appealing.

Wow - I thought it was everyone. But I'm seeing that it's likely they can win an appeal.

So Michigan went from having like 7 QB's on the roster Harbaugh's first season to now only having 2(obviously Patterson would make a 3rd)?

No, the ban allows players who's eligibility spans the length of the ban to transfer and not sit out a year. All other players who's eligibility would span beyond the ban are free to leave but must sit out a year.

could be at least 4. Joe Milton is currently committed.

edit: 5... forgot about Kevin Doyle. though I'm sure they'll redshirt, especially if they land Patterson.

That's because he's layered up with other players using Houston Nutt's lawyer and they are threatening the NCAA with a challenge.

Under the false pretense that the kids were recruited under, I would be surprised if the NCAA made Shea sit out a year.

But the NCAA rarely does the thing we expect, so who the F*** knows.
