Just like Kevin Martin, I have disliked Kevin McHale as a coach from day 1.

Only reason to keep him would be his potential ability to teach the bigs.

Meh. Off the top of my head I can only think of two times where it has really worked for him on the last possession. The Pheonix game where Jermaine O'neal bailed him out with the goaltend and one other game(I can't remember the opponent) where he hit a last second mid range jumper.
