PGU reporting Damion Lee will pick Arizona if Stanley leaves. If this happens we have the potential of being a scoring machine next season.

Stanley's high school coach a couple days ago:

I know all the other kids who have announced didn’t come back to school, but Stanley’s still taking classes. To me that’s a good sign that he’s seriously considering coming back. I’ve encouraged him to stay. He’s only 18 and an extra year of college basketball can put him in the top echelon. And he really enjoys college.

McKnight said he spoke to Johnson last week and believed he “has a real conflict going and can’t make up his mind.”

4 days left for Stanley and Zeus to make official decisions.

I'm shocked Stanley is still in this position.

I feel pretty confident that Zeus stays and SJ goes. If SJ stays it will be one of the most pleasant surprises of recent AZ basketball, for me. Hopefully we don't lose out on both Lee and SJ.

I guess we'll all find out soon enough.

I think there's a 99% chance Zeus stays and 50% for Stanley.

I agree about Zeus. I wonder if SJ thinks he is 50/50, but he's actually still far more likely to leave, to me.

I'm definitely hoping I'm wrong though

Well, looks like we lost out on both.

This is why I don't get the PF on PGU, or trust them (or anyone else) to be correct. I get that they certainly have a lot of insight, but these are 18-22-year old kids, and no one can predict their decisions. It's also why I don't get too caught up in recruiting until they have registered for class.

Hopefully we can pull a late transfer or another 4-star recruit. We're definitely weak at the SF spot. I wonder if Miller leans on a 3-guard lineup.

Yeah no matter how good of inside information someone has... until the person himself has announced something... you never know. I'm still gonna hold onto an inch of hope until SJ officially announces something.

Yeah... I think a starting lineup with 3 guards becomes a real possibility. Something like Allen, York, & Trier. The other way to go... would be to throw in Ristic or Tollefson (if we get him) with Zeus and Anderson and go big.

Stanley pretty much totaled his car right after the announcement today. Good news is he's ok and he should be able to buy a new one pretty soon.

Good luck to Stanley. Hasn't been a great week for the 2015-16 roster.

Stanimal could have really increased his draft stock with another year, but it's hard to resist the NBA. Zeus needs to stay another year. He'd be silly to declare.

Soooooooo, we got Tollefsen. RIght on. Looks like a solid pick up. I know he's 6'9", but he shoots 38% from 3PT. Any chance of him getting some minutes at SF???? Might be interesting.

Yeah, I'm not sure. He's listed as a center, a stretch 5. He will probably see minutes at all the front court spots.
I think he's a big get, the Cats were going to be a little thin/young in the post.

I'm not sure either, hahahha, but I think it's interesting. He's listed at 6'9" 199, which is pretty light, even for a PF. I don't see him playing much C with Zeus and and improved Ristic, but we'll see. I do see him backing up Anderson over Comanche, and maybe that's his 10 minutes per game. But, I also wouldn't be surprised if he has a few minutes out on the wing, especially against a big 3. He shoots 38% from 3, so between that and his weight, I don't see him doing anything at the 5. If he's quick enough on defense, height might not matter as much as lack of weight and his ability to shoot the 3.

Maybe not, but I think it's interesting.

No way this guys a center. Perhaps if miller wants a smaller, quicker rotation then maybe but for the most part he's a small guard or power foward. Looks like he has a decent shot, especially from behind the arc, making him a good option as a forward but not center and he seem quick off his feet (maybe because he's listed at 199 haha). Overall, I like our mix of talent for next year. Thank god we'll have a senior anchor at center.

If Zona and Mich St both make the final of the Wooden Legacy, as expected, we'll get back to back non-con games of :

11/29 vs Mich St (neutral site in Anaheim)
12/05 @ Gonzaga

Its crazy to think that Zona could start 4 seniors and a 4th-year Junior next season.

1 Allen RS JR
2 York SR
3 Tolleffson RS SR
4 Anderson RS SR
5 Kaleb SR

Of course, Trier (and others) may have something to say about that...

In an unexpected turn of events 5 star Jaylen Brown commits to Cal. They will probably be favorites to win the conference next season.

I smell something fishy with freaking Cal of all places landing these top recruits over blue bloods...

With Donovan's move to the NBA it looks like Sean Miller is going to become the new head coach for the USA U18 team.
