We're going to really miss Yandle with the big ice surface.

Damn Burke. Although it sure seemed like there was a lot of questions regarding him. Honestly, I like our top 6, so I'm not too worried. I really don't think Orpik will be starting. The top 6 are solid and deserve to be there, but having Yandle would've been a great weapon. That said, I really don't foresee the US struggling to score. Plenty of talent on the backend that can put up points. I do wonder what the PP units are shaping up to be.

I hope Orpik doesn't touch the ice at all, even Martin, but that wont happen.

Martin won't be out of place. Not sure there'll be a more motivated guy either. He's been named to the past 2 squads, missed both due to injury.

I just hope he doesn't slow the team down, not the fastest of guys out there. But I do trust a guy like him over Faulk out there.

He's a good skater, valuable puck mover, offensive upside, responsible on the backend, and a good option at PP QB if needed.

Idk how I feel about that...I mean quick is really good and all but I feel like we will need miller to channel his inner jim Craig like he did in Vancouver.

For over a year Quick was regarded as the best in the biz, so I can't be too upset with him getting the start. He nearly single-handedly won LAK a Cup, steps up in the big games. I just worry a wee bit about his recently play. Miller's numbers are so dang good, and he plays in front of one of the worst squads in the league, and Quick's aren't as good in front of one of the best defensive teams in the league. Regardless, I have faith in both of their abilities.

And that's partly because that so called best defensive team in the league is not playing like it, either

Second fewest corsi attempts against and shots against in the entire league. They've gotta be doing something right back there.

So all you're doing is looking at Corsi stats? I think advanced stats poisons some people, there's nothing better than watching an actual game and seeing for yourself how a team is really playing

I agree, Quick is great. But we're not looking for the best players...we're looking for the right ones :D

I trust Quick, only goalie I would question starting, is Howard.
