well, saw the open mic episode yesterday; today, a DL's junk popped out at the start of his forty yard dash.

like all good football players, he played through, got his forty time in the books. As soon as he crossed finish, he flopped down to the ground.

Who in the hell gave these underclassmen DT's advice to leave school? Holy moly, there must be 40 DL at the combine alone.

It's good for teams that need pass rush, I suppose. There should be talent left over well into the second and third rounds.

I was thinking in particular of one example (though there are a number of them in this very large and deep group): Hassan Ridgeway of Texas.

He had a good year, when he played. Was out for a number of games with a back issue, and other tweaks.

While he will get drafted, as he has talent, why not wait a year? There is no way possible for the DL class next year to be this deep and sizable. I mean, there are a bunch more this year who did NOT get an invite to the combine...

Just think some of these guys could make more money by waiting, and some could actually stick, whereas this group has some in it who could get shuffled out.

Kickers rarely even show up to the combine, and Koehn was the only one in this year’s class of rookies to run the 40. His official time came in at 4.61, making him the fastest kicker in combine history, going back to 2006.
