Arbitrator Fredric Horowitz will reduce Alex Rodriguez’s suspension from 211 games to 80 games, upon completion of his suspension, the Yankees give Rodriguez his unconditional release and Arod never plays the game again.

Robinson Cano re-signs with the Yankees for 8 years, $190 million.

The Tampa Bay Rays trade David Price to the Los Angeles Angels for Mark Trumbo and prospects.

The Los Angeles Dodgers extend Clayton Kershaw 10 years, $305 million.

Curtis Granderson signs with the New York Mets 4 years, $60 million.

The Pittsburgh Pirates sign Matt Garza in the 3 years/30 million range.

Unless he switches to a corner outfield position, this wont be happening. The Mets are very content with Lagares in Center. Don't mind it since he's fast and has a great glove, also a solid arm out there. But I would love a healthy Granderson on the Mets.

Bold! I doubt his suspension is lowered. He wont play next year. It would be wild to see the Yankees outright release him. Certainly no one will claim his contract, but I think he could find a job as a free agent.... I'd love to see him sign a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training (2015)....

Jason Giambi has already signed a minor league deal with Cleveland.
