Mets with better odds to win the World Series than the Yankees, when's the last time that happened?

Indians might as well be 100-1. The Dolans will never allow that team win a WS.

If I was a betting man, I think I kind of like the Pirates at 28-1. They've been hanging around the last couple years, so maybe they catch a break this year. Also, I'd like to see some new teams get into the playoffs but if I'm looking at those 12 or 14-1 teams there's no way I'd take the Cubs or Padres over the Giants or Cardinals.

My how we have fallen on paper. Astros are favored more than the Braves to win it all this season.

Have the Natonals ever won a playoff series since moving to Washington? Don't see how they can be the favorites.

The Cardinals are my preseason pick every year. They are the best run organization in major sports IMO.

The two teams that played in the World Series last season are ranked 8th and 14th.

List already discredited.

While I do not give any currency to the so-called experts and their predictions I think if there were ever a feature of "RELEGATION" in MLB like it is in English Premier Soccer league, the Rockies will be the first to be relegated.

While I won't argue that Dolan is not a good owner for the Indians, the Tribe could surprise you this season. There're a lot of question marks, but with some luck (wishful thinking in Cleveland, I know), this could be a very good team. I've seen some sites rank them as high as #4 team in MLB heading into 2015, which I think is crazy, but there you have it.

I disagree. First, the MLB postseason is always rife with crapshootidity. At the risk of striking up the tired debate of is "champion" synonymous with "best," neither the Giants or the Royals were the best MLB team in 2015 - they both got hot at the right time and had a hell of a race to 12 wins. Further, they both lost pieces in the offseason.

That's your reasoning? Especially when the playoffs often are a crapshoot...

Marlins & Brewers are the best value bets, imo.

I would say the Orioles are a better value bet then the Brewers.
Best manager in baseball (debatable)
good rotation
all they lost from last year is Cruz, Markakis, and Andrew Miller
Barring injuries they will have Wieters and the 3b in the playoffs this year.

True, they have a solid team and could make a run. Only thing holding me back is their division which is much improved offensively overall with the additions the Jays and Red Sox made.
