I dunno that I would be so quick to remove Norris from the lineup with a righty on the mound.

Derek Norris is 0 for 8 against left handed pitchers this year. Against right handers, however, he has a slash line of .353/.421/.706 with 2 HRs in 19 plate appearances. [Insert arbitrary small sample size qualification] It certainly looks like Norris is well on his way to moving out of the "platoon" classification and into a full tine starter role.

Keep in mind Norris is also the guy who pointed out Jim Johnson's flawed pitching approach and is the one to whom I would give credit for his stellar last 3 innings.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about those stats! Fun stat line of the day: If Jaso played an entire season's worth of at bats (600) against Angels pitching in Anaheim, he would end up with a.424/.493/.727 slash line, 81 walks, 81 strikeouts, 54 HRs and 200 RBIs. Jaso currently has 66 ABs under these conditions.

Insane.
