I don't think this author or website understands how poorly we played last week... and if anything we may not beat Stanford at this point.


BTW: Notre Dame comes in as 3.5 Favorite towards Stanford.

I think they can beat Stanford. Honestly I don't think the team has taken the previous two teams seriously and it showed luckily those teams weren't good enough to beat them with the kind of effort you saw.

I think we have as good a shot as any. We've come through Temple, Pitt, Wake and BC, all of whom have very stout defenses and nearly completely opposite offenses. We moved the ball plenty well against these teams.

We've played the Statistical #1 Boston College, #5 Clemson, #17 Navy, #28 Pitt, #30 Temple and #44 Wake Forest best defenses.

The #3 Clemson, #13 Boston College, #34 Wake Forest, #51 Pitt passing defenses.

The #1 Boston College, #17 Navy, #22 Clemson, #29 Pitt, #30 Temple, #36 USC rushing defenses.

Stanford sits at #31 rushing, and #77 passing in terms of yards per game. #46 for overall defense.

The Irish defense stacks up at #41 overall. The Best overall defensive team in the Pac12 is Washington at #38.

I think we matchup just fine.
