Well that sucks. I just can't get enough of mediocre teams going to bizarre places and playing crappy football.

With multiple 5-7 teams making bowls last year, I think this might be the right move.

One of the next bowls would have been in Austin, Texas. Lance Aldridge, Austin Sports Commission. BTW, NCAA gave its approval in 2015 but I guess they took it away.

Yep. And Austin would be a great bowl game destination.

But not until some of the other crappy bowls go away.

I just hope we can still have the Bahama Bowl. Those 50 fans who abandoned their seats to sit underneath a high school press box for shade really seemed to be enjoying the game, and were definitely not there because they were parents.

This is step 1 to recovery.

Step 2 is reducing the current number of bowls.
