Stoke. Meebs has the Murry brothers and it would be hard to stop them but feel Stoke has a slight edge. Great teams.

Well, neither Eddie Mathews or Eddie Murray hit lefties well (Mathews hit .231 for his career against lefties, and Murray was around just .276).

My lineup will wear opposing staffs down, they get on base, they hit for average and power and I have the best bat, the best right handed bat and 3 of the top 5 right handed bats overall. The lineup has no weakness versus lefties or righties.

Also, I have the best available left handed pitcher, as well as 5 guys who were not only great during the regular season, it near unhittabel in the playoffs.

I have Gaedel to walk in the late innings, and Coleman for added speed. Pesky, Waner and Herman are all excellent hitters off the bench.

As for relievers, they may not be the biggest names, but Eichhorn may have had the best non-closer relief season in MLB history. Nathan was a great closer. Venters seems forgotten due to his 3 Tommy Johns, but the guy was completely unhittable when healthy. Paige is for long relief situations, and if we think peak.... Michael Jackson had a very good long career, and was great against righties.

Oh and after all that, I have me.
