Niners and Boldin expected to get deal done

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, a deal between the 49ers and Anquan Boldin to keep him aboard is expected to get done. Very good news! ...Now hopefully they can get Whitner done at the right price, and add a speedy WR to take the top off defenses!

That is great news indeed. I would guess it's a two-year deal. Hope Niners land a CB in the first round and WR in the 2nd round. I like Devante Adams from Fresno State with the Niners in the 2nd round (their own pick). Maybe CB Jason Verrett in the 1st round. I also like center Weston Richburg from Colorado State in the 2nd round. Goodwin will let go and Niners need to get younger in that position.

PM has only signed two deals that I haven't been happy with and neither one is a lot of coin. Dahl and Snyder. So I'm not worried at all about Boldin's contract.

I would be surprised if the deal doesn't get done since it seems both sides mutually want it to happen and neither side has a ton of leverage over the other.

The guaranteed money is what we need to look at when it comes out. There could be fluff to make it seem more than it is.

Welker's contract was for two years, $12 mill. Boldin probably wants something similar.
