Game Thread: Nine? Nein! Or Nine? NINE!! Sabres at Jackets GNT

Jackets are on a franchise record and current NHL best streak of 8 wins. But in that streak the team that gave them the biggest fit was the Sabres. Should be a decent game, and no projected lineup changes for the Jackets. Looks to be Bob in goal.

Jackets Notes:
- With the win against Philly, the Jackets have moved to SIXTH in scoring in the league. Sixth.
- Over the win streak, the Power Play is running around 27%
- 12 different Jackets players registered a point in the game against Philly. Neat considering Jack Motherfuckin Johnson's goal was unassisted.
- Optional skate at the arena this morning, 14 players took part.
- Marian Gaborik skated on his own again today. MRI looked good. Might be back before Sochi.
- Jared Boll has his walking boot off and aiming for an early return in Feb/March. I need another alibi.

Sabres should feel at home. It's snowing like a mofo out there.

David Savard is sick, Jackets have called up Cody Golubef on an emergency basis.

Kind of strange that they didn't call up Prout or Erixon...

Jackets with only 5 D men, Golubef didn't make it.

Bobrovsky is apparently drunk. Two Loooong shorthanded goals given up. Sabres up 3-1 with 12 to go in the second. Tabasco in now.

Last year, Bob got shelled once. After he returned the Jackets went 19-5-5.
