Lets face it, there is no way you could do a real top 10 list on this team and not leave great players off of it. But who would you put on this list, and who would you leave off???
Here is what the NFL Network thought......

1. Joe Greene

2. Terry Bradshaw

3. Franco Harris

4. Rod Woodson

5. Jack Lambert

6. Mel Blount

7. Troy Polamalu

8. Hines Ward

9. Lynn Swann

10. Jerome Bettis

Who are your Top 10 Steelers of all time????

I would put Ben Roethlisberger on this list over Terry Bradshaw. No he doesn't have the same amount of SB's, but he's the better player of the 2. If Ben was on the 70's Steelers team he would have 6+ SB rings and would be commonly referred to as the GOAT. I'd probably also put John Stallworth over Lynn Swann.

Great player, but no way should Franco be #3 on that list.

It's easier to make a top 3 for each POSITION on the team as opposed to a top 10 overall.

Well yea it would, but the difficulty lies in picking a top 10 list of all time.....

No cop outs jr!!!!

Tough call to name just 10, but imo Franco and Swann come off and Ben, and Stallworth replace them.

Bradshaw is never going to get the credit he deserves because the DEF was so strong, but he and the OFC were the catalyst of the '78 & '79 teams...the DEF was still very good in '78...'79 they were slipping a little.

Franco...nothing against him, he was the original big man with light feet, but Rocky was the hard nosed, grit guy I just like him more.

Swann...the SB performances make him more notable, but if you had a chance to watch those games like many of the natives did, Stallworth was the work horse WR...the 3rd down guy Bradshaw leaned a lot.

Agreed, but his career is not over yet........
I mean if you are going to go that route no way in hell you could leave off AB, or Le'veon Bell wouldn't you think???

Ben has already surpassed Terry in almost every single statistical category. I'd still keep Hines on that list over AB but only for RIGHT NOW... Give it another year or 2 and there's no way that AB isn't top 3-5 on that list. Bell, I wouldn't be so quick just yet. He needs to prove he can stay healthy before I start throwing him into the discussion. There's no question that he's the better athlete than both Harris & Bettis, but longevity of production is the name of the game when considering someone for this top 10 list.
