  • First four games include three cupcakes (because Brady will be suspended for cheating at least those weeks - I call for an entire season)
  • A grand total of two, count 'em two tough home opponents
  • 8 days off before playing Ravens
  • 14 days off before playing Seahawks
  • Week 9 bye
  • No back-to-back West Coast games (Kraft insisted on this, Kraft got this)
  • Five, count 'em FIVE prime time games

And the Boston Globe only calls this a "favorable" schedule for the Patriots :rolleyes2:

Why is the 2016 Pats schedule so laughable? I see maybe 6/7 loses on that schedule.

Are you serious? With the talent on that team? Those weapons? I want 19-0 and a Lombardi trophy paraded down Main St. Foxborough or I want Tawm Brady's head on a platter.

I still see 6/7 loses on the 2016 Pats schedule.

That's your opinion and completely irrelevant to what we're talking about here which is the NFL (once again) awarded the Patriots a golden ticket to a first-round bye.

Maybe if you say it a third time you'll get the reaction you're looking for? :noidea:

Okay I'm saying it A THIRD TIME. IMO, this is NOT a favorable schedule and the NFL didn't award the Patriots a golden ticket to a first round bye. IMO, I see 6/7 loses in the Pats 2016 schedule. I'm not too fond of the Patriots either and I can't help it if you're are a Patriot hater. I have my opinion and you have yours. Yes my comments are relevant what we are talking about.

I posted compelling details about the schedule to back up my opinion.

I kindly ask you to do the same (or immediately stop prattling on about nothing).

The teams they play are predetermined. The only thing the schedule makers control is when they play each of those teams. The main reason the Pats get a cupcake schedule every year is two reasons:
  1. They play in a division with 3 other teams who don't seem to care about being competitive for the past 15 years.
  2. Geographically they are located in a sweet spot for an NFL team so their travel to away games is never that bad. That actually applies to most teams located in the N.E.

Okay Hammer I'm not going to argue with you, I'm just stating my opinion. The Pat's have to play @ the Cards, Bengals at home, @ the Steelers, Seahawks at home, @ the Jets, @ the Broncos and not to mention Miami away and at home. IMO that is not a "laughable cupcake schedule".

Good comment and I totally agree.

You and I don't really know good Miami will be this year. We can only assume.

But you just got done using them to argue that the Pats have a daunting schedule. :noidea:
