We are about to get started. One thing is for sure, if there was a year it was okay to have 2 AFC rivals with top 3 picks, it is this year. Who does everyone want the Broncos to take? What positions will be taken in the 1st 3 rounds?

I think the best player we can get by standing pat would be Sylvester Williams. Big need and great value. I think the Vikes will take him though.

Two things about Dion Jordan:

1) With that light 246 lb. frame, he seems like a pass-rush specialist if ever there was one. The Dolphins' D-coordinator is going to have to be pretty creative to be able to use him every down. #3 overall seems WAY to high to use on this type of player, unless the Dolphins' DC can keep him on the field for 3 downs.

2) Tall, fast players like this, even if they are light, can bring the BOOM on a QB who is standing in the pocket. I can see him knocking some QBs out of games in his career. That tall frame, moving fast and then uncorking on someone can be devastating.

I was surprised the Dolphins jumped up so high for him, but they got good value in the trade from the Raiders. Also a slap to the face of the Chefs as they wanted the Dolphins 2nd rounder for Albert.

I would be okay with Williams, I think it will be Bjorn Werner.

Werner would be a solid pick too. He's probably the most likely candidate for us to take, based on recent buzz and mocks.

The trades so far are interesting. Raiders dropping from 3 to 12 and pick up #42 overall. The Bills drop from 8 to 16 and pick up #46 and 78 overall. The Raiders got screwed!

I'm pretty happy with the pick. Can always use players up front, I think he will be solid. Good to be able to keep guys fresh.

I'm stoked that we were able to get Sylvester Williams. He is the goods and he has the blessing of Warren Sapp, which is no small thing.

If Sharrif Floyd hadn't fallen so far, I don't think we would have gotten him. The dominos are falling....

I like the pick. Nothing flashy, just good player at a position of need.

As for Sharrif Floyd, he has had limited success and did very well at the combine. I think teams are a little weary of him being a workout warrior.

Good things come to those who wait. If we would have forced a DT in the last couple of drafts we might have gone in a different direction in this draft, but we didn't and I think we got a guy that would have gone much higher in the last couple drafts.
