Just end it all by making it a $100,000 fine per offense for conduct detrimental to the league. For 1.6 mil per season, knock yourselves out.

Too simple I guess.

gotta be against an amendment or something
Employers in the private sector have every right to limit free speech of it's employees while the employee is representing the employer, especially if that speech is of a controversial nature that can result in bad publicity. While wearing the uniform, an NFL player represents their team and the NFL, so these employers have every right to ban this kind of action.

Forbid disrespecting the flag while in uniform; fine $100,000.00 per violation, fines to go to law enforcement agencies, or suspend them without pay each game they choose to kneel. three times and you are fired, get a job at Walmart.

Naa to the above even if I approve of said actions. Need to keep politics and such out of the picture. Really has no place in a game for entertainment purposes and will just keep the spot light off of the game .

While I ... don't agree with your views, the NFL has always branded itself as American Pie, Patriotism, etc for at the very least the SB era. That has evolved some, but the core of that has never quite changed.

But the players weren't always on the field for the anthem.

They brought the players on the field in 2009.
