Reminds me of when there was this big outcry over the show Married With Children. Bunch of morons were offended and thought it needed to be banned. The response from the actors was basically if it offends you so much, don't watch it.
Maybe you should use some of your superior perspective and view that in the context of what I was quoting.

I had already looked that up. And as moose stated that's really not that high considering the population of California.
Personally, I'd suggest Razorbacks if they were to change it. Would jive with their history and traditions in a more positive way.
Washington Warriors would work well, and they could keep the logo even.
Part of the problem is they'd still get criticism from activists if they kept the logo. It's not just the name, it's being used as a mascot which offends a good number of them. They'd just have the same problem the Cleveland Indians did and still do with Chief Wahoo. The GS Warriors as far as I know use about zero imagery related to NA's anymore.
