I used to be the same way but they've definitely grown on me more recently. My teenage son is a fan and that probably has something to do with it. And like you said, Grohl seems like a really cool dude too.

We got tickets to his birthday show at the Forum a couple of years ago. No opening act, 3+ hour show, a shit ton of guest performers. So yeah, I'm a fan now too.
