Need 1 Owner for Dynasty League

More or less Harold. We won't be having a veto process. All trades go through me and 99.99999% will go through. As soon as I see them. That has always been the best strategy outside of having no voting system altogether. Many keeper/dynasty league users wouldn't join a league if the league voted on trades.

Not worried about vetoing trades, I've never veto one. Just thought it would be helpful to spell when a trade offer is official and give us some insight about folks getting cold feet and pulling the plug, even though they had a verbal deal and thinking that's OK. Is this common with this league?

The trade is official when it hits my desk. I can't do anything about another owner getting cold feet during the trade talks. The majority of deals fall through for one reason or another. I have not had any issues with agreements falling through. Most of my trade talks so far have been what do you want for this pick. I want this for that pick. Oh I don't want to pay that much. Okay no problem I take the pick. It sucks that someone backed out. But i'm sure we all have had trades we have backed out on. Or wish we had backed out on a day or two later. Maybe we have some indecisive owners. Only time will tell I suppose.

You are off the mark here, but I don't see any point in arguing. It is what it is.

I would rather you get it out in the open than holding it in for later. At this point I have guys threatening to quit a league that's still in the process of drafting it's start up. I can't fathom how you guys had such a quick falling out with each other. But I think everyone taking a step back and relaxing would do everyone good.

Quitting a league? You talking about our league? Nobody has mentioned quitting, kicking some ass, yes, but not quitting.

Nobody is close to quitting IMO. Just the opposite, now we want to just dig in and kick ass. Our reps are on the line here. We can't have these guys beat us, that's unacceptable .

No one on this board. This is the info i'm getting on this trade. That Matt Jones was the target. That Bryant was a guy who was also a target. Landry got folded into the deal with picks going both ways. That he was told that deal was a no. So he moved on to make a deal he felt was better deal for him.

Seems logical from both sides from the outside looking in. They try to workout a trade for two key pieces. The one party turns the other one down and they move onto another deal that they like. Not sure what jousting went on other than that. But seems reasonable.

We had a little back and forth, that I'm not going to get into. .but the long and short of it is we discovered we have very different valuations on basically everyone.

If he takes that so far as that he wants to leave the league. .well boo hoo, but it's quite the overreaction to a simple disagreement.

I'm not going anywhere, but if a person gets that worked up over a disagreement on player valuations, I'll now know who to aviod when talking trade, that's all.

I don't think it's a good reason to quit either. But i'm not going to force him to stay in the league either. If he leaves it might be for the best with how many issues have come up so quickly with you guys and him. Then we will have to scramble for a new guy mid draft from the hoop. He has OBJ and Dez so it shouldn't be that hard.

Yeah that's how I see it. I asked him to take a step back and think about it. But if he left no hard feelings type of thing since he runs one of my other leagues. Haven't got a email back from him since then. So hopefully he took a moment to calm down and steped away from the ledge.
