From what I've read, it sounds like it's one of three possible scenarios for NU. BWW bowl is "considering Michigan" to keep up outward appearances, but you know they're slobbering over this match-up. If they end up picking MU, it sounds like the Gator bowl welcomes NU with open arms. At that point it ends up being either a beat up UGA or Johnny FFB.
Honestly at this point I don't like the idea of playing ANY of those teams. Decent shot at beating Georgia because both NU and UGA are a shadow of themselves and have been wrought by injuries. UGA could easily opt for the Chick-fil-A bowl if I'm not mistaken though, and no one wants to see that sad game.
So here it is then, money talks. No way is Texas-Nebraska not the primary discussion of the baby brother of the fiesta bowl.
