Dear God,

I have resorted to absolute desperation tactics. I'm here to ask you to not allow Nebraska to lose anymore. When I was a kid you answered my prayers in 1994 and 1995. Then you purposely ripped my heart out in 1996 to apparently send some sort of sick message to me. Well, message was received, loud and clear. That next season I prayed extra hard and you let Nebraska win every game again.

I guess that 1998 season was right around the age when I turned into a teenager and so I quit asking you to let us win all the games because it wasn't "cool" for a 13 year old to do. Today, I'm going on 30 years of age.......and dear God, please don't let my Huskers lose anymore. PLEASE COT DAMMIT! I'm sick of this shit.

Just give us one more time of glory, and let that time start right now with a thumping of the Iowa Hawkeyes. Please God, my life depends on this. I don't know what else to do besides get down on my knees and beg you for mercy. If you let Iowa win today, I can only assume that the world is ending and judgement day is upon us.

Please forgive me of my language earlier in this prayer. And also, when I was a kid I asked you to let my cat live 99 years. Well she only lived 20 years, so I think you owe me one.
