I didn't know him either. A 1st round draft pick. Things I read he's smart and versatile. Had his best year last year when he played the MLB position. In his four years with Chi he played four different positions. Some say maybe that's what caused him to u erachieve in years 1-3?
From Boise ST. OLB and plays MLB. Drafted in the first round and hasn't really done much.
He doesn't really have a position in the 4-3. Patriots are taking on other team's busts so someone is likely to pan out but some of these guys are going to continue being busts.
that's why he was a bust in Chi. Not a good fit for them
Personally, I think he might be the best free agent signed by (NE) so far. He was mis-handled in Chicago and out of position. He should not have been signed in first round but he is coachable and athletic.....
Wow strong statement. I think Bennett is likely the best pick up. All the FAs BB picked up have unlimited potential. 4 of them were first rounders. So they have or had the raw talent at some point. NE just needs to un-tap that potential. Most exciting FA period I can remember. Not necessarily the best, time will tell? But certainley all kinds of unknown uncertainty for us fans. Go Pats. Can't wait for the draft. I wonder what BB has up his sleeve? Lots of depth at many positions this year. Having said that BB will trade away half his picks for future picks, hahaha. He always goes left whenwe think he's going to turn right?
