I'm in.

Just want to make sure we have the brackets posted somewhere with up to date scoring so we all can see. I'm assuming that's the yahoo thing you are talking about?

Yeah anywhere done online will allow everyone to see at all times.

Obviously, I'm in.

I would assume in about a week Yahoo will open up the game and we can get the ball rolling.

How will we do the scoring?

Obviously increasing each round but I am also a fan of awarding points for the seed so you get rewarded for finding those upset picks.

For example if the first round is worth 10 points per win + the seed and a 12 seed wins, you would get 22 points conversely if the 5 seed wins and you picked it...15 points.

Great question. It's one I don't have the answer to, either. I'll leave it to the masses to decide.

I like your idea. I've never played it that way, though. When the game becomes open I'll be able to see what kind of tweaks they'll let me make.

I have used Yahoo in previous years and have not seen an option for the type of scoring you have suggested.

Just a note, paypal can be weird concerning brackets. They don't approve of it, everyone sending equal cash come tourney time might be suspect. You won't lose your money but I just wanted to throw that out there. It's also the safest as well.

Maybe send anywhere between $20 and $20.50 or so? We'll trick PayPal!

I'll check into ESPN and CBS when they open their games and see which is the most user friendly for us.

I literally think it would make a difference. They don't have people checking accounts the computer will red flag an account first than have people check it out.

Or you could set up a business account meaning its taxed. PayPal is safe I have a lot of experience with it.

It being taxed means people have also the safety of getting there money back( I am in no way suggesting you would ever do that).
