Surprised, hell no. Most of Sunday's teams were playing their 3rd game in 3 days. UNCONSCIONABLE!!
Greed from the Universities, conferences and non-governing from the NCAA. Ever see the NBA play 3 consecutive days. These kids are taught to give 110%. They had nothing left on Sunday.
It's our fault for watching and getting excited about the conference tournaments.
If the NCAA won't do its job, time for somebody to step up.

Bill, this is nothing new. It's part of the conference tournaments. I do think they should add an extra day and take Saturday off for the two teams in the final, but Saturday is the biggest day for college basketball.

I don't see a major issue here.

It's an issue, but all teams have to play. Good coaching will result in players being rested and some limiting of the high 5's and the chest bumps; both which use up energy.

It's not about a fair game- yes both teams usually are playing 3 in 3. It's about physically taking advantage of young men in asking them to compete when exhausted. Many more bricks on Sunday.
I would not want my son to play 3 in 3.

maybe coaches should coach their teams to be well rounded teams, rather than living or dying by the 3.

3 in 3 pff, when i was playing travel and high school soccer, we would play tournaments where we played 4 90-minute games in 2 days...if you cant handle 3 games in 3 days, get in better shape.

Wo the fuck cares? I bet a good chunk of these guys would pretty happily play 50 games over a ten day stretch. Hell, I may not be good, but I'd happily do that.

Playing through being tired is part of being a man.
