Name your top 5 favorite fantasy players in order of all time.

Guys i am curious. What fantasy players over the years do you hold near to your heart and for what reason. ie they helped you win a championship or a certain game on a special night. Let me know. Here's mine.

1. Chris Johnson - you guys know he helped me win a championship his rookie year and his 2,000 yard year.
2. Brian Westbrook - I drafted him in the first round my very first year playing ff in a 2 qb league and everyone laughed at me cause out of the 12 first round picks 11 were qbs and 1 was an rb back in 2006 I believe.
3. TO - same year I took him in the second round and he went nuts that year.
4. Gronk - Never helped me win anything - I just love having a top TE, as I owned Gates back in the early years when he was special. Back when there was only Gates, Clark, Gonzo and I think Witten.
5. Can't think of a fifth one actually at this moment!

Cool thread. Reading the replies really emphasizes to me just how late I am to fantasy football.

That said, based on my limited experience and my demonstrated lack of skill over that period ...

1. '11 Aaron Rodgers. My team sucked, but AR was not part of the problem.
2. '10 Brandon Lloyd. Took him on a hunch. Only wish that I had such inspired hunches on the stock market!
3. '13 Reggie Bush. Truly a highlight. Alas, wasn't enough to overcome lowlights!
4. '14 Justin Forsett. Mid season acquisition who I absolutely love!
5. -14 Matt Forte. See item (1) above.

1 Jeff George picked him off the WW one year and had him lead my 0-6 team all the way in a money league

2 Kurt Warner drafted him in 1999 in a 2 QB league

3 Michael Turner everybody laughed when I drafted him his first year in Atlanta

4 Derrick Thomas & Derrick Brooks always seemed to be 2 of my 3 LBers in my old IDP league

5 Vinny Testaverde my first ever pick in his rookie year. yes I have been doing this a long time.


HM Heywood Jeffries he changed our league with a 12 receptions and 99 yard game. our scoring system was 4 points for 100 yds. He got 0 points and the system was changed the next year.

Me too and I've owned him in that league ever since....................and yes the laughter at the draft turned into trade offers for the rest of that season and the next couple.

I'm afraid this may be his last year though...........
