Did not know they weren't competing for State Titles. You would think someone who took the time to map out where every kid came from would bother to look at the schedule. That clarifies things a bit.

My high school was like that back in the early years, 30's thru the early 60's. A real powerhouse. Traveled the country by train playing all the power schools. Racked up some impressive W/L records. Several All-Americans, a few pros.
My Civics teacher was a former All-American HB for the school. We used to watch old game film from the 40's on Fridays in class. Loved it.
