After looking at many variables I have come up with

13. Nebraska
14. Louisville
15. Michigan State
16. Oklahoma
17. Iowa State
18. SMU

20. Ohio State
21. Gonzaga
22. Utah
23. Syracuse
24. Iowa
25. Minnesota

- Teams 23-34 in my rankings were less than 2 points apart so that is a crap shoot. This is NOT how I predict the teams to end the year necessarily but just based on preseason stats.

Just out of curiosity, since you seem to have some statistical basis for this, where are the biggest gaps between spots? I'm guessing there is a pretty decent jump between #4 and #5. Any other spots where it drops off significantly?

4 and 5 is the biggest followed by 22 and 23 ( that seems strange to me, Utah was the big surprise when I plugged in the numbers ) and 14 and 15 was another larger gap although the BIGGEST gap of them all was between team 34 and 35 strangely enough
