my CFB season ends early

As far as viewing goes. Sucks, but my work schedule got F'd up and I now work weekends...Although it brings in more dough, I miss out on the Final 2 weeks of CFB season. Thanksgiving weekend and the CCG weekend.......blows to not see the games live, but I will be listening via radio!

Havent worked on a CFB Saturday in about 5 years. I always make a point to get a schedule not on a Fall Saturday, but couldn't avoid this.

Oregon vs Arizona will be the last game I see before the BCS bowl.

I'm sure this has nothing to do with Oregon Ducks vs. Stanford Cardinal - Recap - November 07, 2013 - ESPN .....

I agree, got one up the street from me, go about twice a week.

Got a McDonalds in the other direction about the same distance, went once in the last 3 months

I never go to Mcdonalds or really any fast food, makes me sick if I haven't eaten it in awhile. Whataburger is pretty damn good though.

LOL @ fans who are so uncommitted to their team that they take jobs on Saturdays! Seriously? What a pathetic existence it is to put money ahead of doing what you really want to do in life.

I dont "work" Saturdays but I am on call and have to go in if needed. Has nothing to do with putting money first. Human life can depend on me doing my job or not.

nope. work on Fridays as well. It's going to be real tough. Unless its like a 7:30 kick.

Yeah, we have a place closer in to Charlotte(here on business for a while) that is called the Penguin and its been on one of those best burger shows with that chef Guy something or other. He said its one of the top 10 burger joints in the country. Its an eclectic place that has a bar at night that caters to food and drinks and has the tattooed, pierced, artsy crowd in it. I go for lunch occasionally and get whats called a big block which is a double pattie burger with the works. i get a large fry and fried pickles and a beer or two and make it an afternoon nap when I get home. good eats there buddy.
