Out of 30 teams
2009:
Runs: 28th
Avg: 22nd

2010:
Runs: 30th
Avg: 30th

2011:
Runs: 30th
Avg: 30th

2012:
Runs: 27th
Avg: 30th

2013:
Runs: 22nd
Avg: 28th

2014: Through 17 games
Runs: 19th
Avg: 23rd

As you can see none of those rankings are close to even being in the top half of the league. I know "its early" but I can already see the trend. 4 shutouts in the last 10 games. Obviously a blind squirrel doesnt always find a nut in this case as Jack Z as continuously failed at putting even a league average offense on the field. Even Cano is not immune to the offensive black hole because he is batting .254 now.:lame:

So who is the #1 prospect coming out? I am sure we will pass him up for a guy who will be quicker to the majors.

cano's not getting anything to hit, so that factors into his numbers a bit

when you're surrounded by AAAAAAAA players, it's difficult

this is very much like A-Fraud going to texas and being surrounded by utter shit, though he was younger than cano when he did it.

Arod at least had guys like Palmeiro, Pudge Rodriguez and Michael Young when he was there.

Outside of Cano and Ichiro, the lineups have been filled with mainly AAAA players, utility players and castoffs since Z has been here. I mean what was his big offensive signing ever? I guess that one season of Russell Branyan which was flukey was the best.

Getting over .500 for awhile and into the playoff conversation just makes it hurt a little more. Imagine if we were only 20th in MLB in those stats.

Just a terrible shame.

Jack Z needs to be hold accountable for the decisions he has made if i were an owner i wouldnt shell out hundreds of millions for a guy that hasnt produced. We traded away cliff lee for Smoak (BUST) we drafted dustin ackley the hitting machine (BUST) we traded for jesus montero (BUST) we signed Figgins (BUST) and we are on our 3rd manager. If those players would have became all stars or really good players and not demotions to AAA i would give the benefit of the doubt that the owners would put a lot more money into the team to sign good free agents to add to these core players.

He clearly values power guys as oppose to OBP guys which doesn't make sense in Safeco Field. That couldn't have been more evident then in the Morse for Jaso swap last winter. I realize Jaso isn't an everyday catcher but he was the most consistent hitter they had in 2012. Of course Oakland saw the value and its just another example of they get it and we don't.

Guys that are strictly power like Lomo, Hart, Jason Bay, Jack Cust, etc. arent going to work here yet we keep seeing them year after year.

Really echoes what Blengino said about Z last year.
