That stat can be skewed in the Mariners favor, simply because we so rarely have runners on 1st base due to such an anemic offense that gets so few base hits to begin with.

I honestly think we should clean house and sell anyone and everyone at the trade deadline with the exception of:

Julio ( too much money invested - forced to keep him )
Kelenic - promising and cheap salary
Ford - keep he is cheap and can hit
Cabby - cheap and has the heart of a lion and plays every play like the game rides on it.
Ford and Cabbalero know the strike zone better than anyone on the team. And they have the least MLB 'show' experience

All other position players gone - none hit well enough to be on an MLB everyday roster

Pitchers:
All are for sale to the highest bidder.

Our team needs hitters, I would rather watch a game we get beat 13-11 knowing we have an offense.
Watching these 2-3-4-5 hit games is like death by a 10000 paper cuts.

All coaching staff - Skip and GM gone.

Start fresh 2024 with a group that is told to play hard or pack it up and go home before we cut you.

Please don't trade any prospects for players.

You entirely failed at offseason improvements to the team and have regressed in managing the team you have.

Texas went from a second tier team to a top flight in one offseason. It's been done before. With this pitching core there is very little standing in the way of this team being able to jump up as well outside of an ownership that doesn't appear to want to spend to do it.
