1. could happen
2. nope
3. nope
4. could happen
5. could happen

Good list though.
could, yes...likely? most, no i think. maybe harrison due to the pass happy league. krauses 81 picks...even with todays pass happy NFL, defensive players cant play defense. theyre limited. we will never see a rod or charles woodson again, and those guys were pretty far behind krauses 81 picks.
deangelo hall is the current active leader with 43.

Eric Dickerson's 2,105 yards rushing in 1984 will be tough to beat. Adrian Peterson came close a few years back, but didn't quite get there.

Since most teams go with a RBBC I think DJ, Bell and Zeke are the three possible RB's who have a shot at breaking the record.

LOL....but the Pats have 16...which still isn't 20
and the point about 10 plus wins has everything to do with 2 extra games
but....you go ahead chief

I think he's on point. Extra games doesn't make having a winning record easier. They are close too. This is about records that won't EVER be broken and they are getting really close.

Naw... Zeek had 1600 yards. He's have to put up 1600+ in his mid 30s. These are all high carry guys and all start breaking down in their late 20s. They start missing games from the abuse. I don't see any of them putting up 1600 yards in the year 2030.

Choking in the Super Bowl for your only loss?

Your turn.

...serious question, are you a chick? "Yes honey, sometimes I leave my socks on the bathroom floor but that's not what we're talking about right now."

I watched NFL Network's Top-10 the other day.

(10)Derrick Thomas' 7 sacks in one game.
(9)Otto Graham's 10 title games in 10-year career (7-3).
(8)The Dolphins' 1972 perfect season.
(7)Tom Landry coaches the Cowboys for 29 years.
(6)49ers win 18 straight road games.
(5)Don Hutson leads NFL in TD's 8 times.
(4)Bucs lose 26 straight.
(3)Brett Favre's ironman streak (321 games).
(2)Drew Brees' 54-game TD streak.
(1)Don Shula wins 347 games (1963-95).

Some records I don't think will be broken any time soon...
-Emmitt Smith's 18,355 career rushing yards. Frank Gore with 13,065 is the closest active player. Adrian Peterson at 11,747 is next.
-Bill Belichick/Tom Brady win 5 rings.
-Jerry Rice's 22,895 receiving yards, 1,549 receptions, and 208 total TD's.
-Bruce Smith's 200 career sacks.
It always amazes me, however, every generation records of all kinds get broke, it would seem like at some point records will be unbeatable, the only question is when and who will hold the final unbeatable record in any an all categories.

I don't think anybody will break Emmit's record but the single season rushing record I could see one of the three guys I mention have a chance.

no bonus points for being close
Dallas's first 11 seasons was when they played 14 games
and.....Dallas didn't play in a cream puff division
20 is 20

I don't understand why you marked my post as "gay". The Patriots are damn close and the thread was about unbreakable records. What's gay about thinking the Pats can take down the Cowboys remarkable record? I don't get it.

I don't think Bell can do it and I doubt the Cards guy can. I could totally see Zeek do it. Balanced offense with a tremendous OLine. I wouldn't be shocked if he did it this year. I hope someone punches him in the face for that Feed Me routine... But his freaking good. Really good.

Never said I was a smart guy.

Seriously though, you are a woman right? No way someone could turn what I said into an argument unless you are a woman.

I don't get his reasoning either. He said the Cowboys streak of 20 straight winning seasons can't be broken. You said the Patriots are at 16 ( and they are practically a lock for 17). What's the issue. The Patriots are right there???

You might be right but healthy DJ and Bell grind out some serious yards on the ground.

Definitely. I don't think Bell can do it cause they pass to him so often. He could easily do 2000+ rushing and receiving. I just went with Zeek cause of rhe balance and great OLine.

Just proves Ol' Brett was exactly what he was billed as, a gunslinger. Gunslingers take challenges. He has made quite a few throws he shouldn't have. But he also has that corresponding number of TD's to go with it. I am sure betting I would never see another QB in my lifetime surpass his ironman record, though.
