Torts said on the radio that he put out the lineup that he felt gave him the best chance of winning today's game.

Eddie Lack didn't sound very good in the post-game scrum...

FarhanLaljiTSN: There was simply no excuse for the fans reaction towards Lack today. The goaltending decision was hardly has fault. #embarassing #canucks

Praying these trades work out for the best but very pessimistic at this point
blow it the fuck up.
What was Torts' reason for him not playing today?
he wasn't around for all of the bullshit last year.
possibly wasn't aware that it might have been a big deal (not sure how that's possible though)
and Gillis too much of a fucking retard to fill him in.

there was no good outcome of starting Lack in this game
It's not like Luongo has been playing like shit and Lack is our only hope to win.

another example of how clueless the powers-that-be are....
on the night that they hono(u)r the 1994 Canucks, on the jumbo-tron they show a ski-doo ad with Mark fucking Messier as the spokesman

who thought that was a good idea? :confused2:
it was also lustily boo'd

Seems that all us western Canadian teams have the same problem; idiotic general managing

I can't tell if the situation actually is tense, or if the media just makes it seem that much worse...but man, I always thought that Vancouver was the stable one in that department. I tend to think Torts had the best intentions, but his inability to see how it'd misfire isn't great.

Vancouver WAS only looking stable because they were the only team in Western Canada that's been winning - now that they're losing some more it's getting ugly
