You draft 12 on offense and 12 on defense.

Your 12 offensive players must have played their first game in the 80's

Your 12 defensive players had to have played their first game in the 70's

Or you can decide which way to go.

You got it! I also wanna give the credit to @MilkSpiller22, I was looking back on old drafts trying to come up with something and Milk suggested this almost exactly two years ago. Although it's my idea to let you choose which way you go...

Does it make sense to you to continue them? Half the people in the draft have no idea what they are doing and don't really know what they are voting on...

So, help me tweak this...

This could be for the NFL, or any of them really. The first two rounds would be normal. Starting in the 3rd round, you pick 2 players. The first goes on your roster, and the second just becomes ineligible for anyone to draft. Wondering if maybe we should start in the 4th, since it is a bit if a disadvantage drafting later if you get twice the players taken away from you essentially. If you start that in the 4th, the players picking last would be picking the first ineligible players and the guys who picked early would have that drop off, which evens out more. Anyway, maybe we could do this until round 11 or 15 or the whole way. The played chosen to be ineligible would have to be someone that the group feels would be going in that round or close to it, but I don't really know how to enforce that. Other than that, I think it could be a fun little wrinkle to add.

So, the first round would go normal, the 2nd would start drafting 2 players... 1 for your team and 1 who is ineligible for everyone. 10 rounds, starters play 30 minutes, bench plays 18. Ineligible picks in rounds 2-5.

2nd idea is another phase 10 draft. It was my first draft here, so it has been a while. We could re-do the phases, but basically each round would have different restrictions. Some rounds are pretty vague (a player who has won an NBA championship) and some are more specific (a player drafted in the 2nd round of the NBA draft).

The one we did earlier, I pretty much walked into the win. I had the last pick and got to pick 1st in the even rounds, which set me up perfectly to build a team.
