Ughhh thats stupid. How about working on getting umpires that can actually call the one they have accurately.

All these "fix" ideas are stupid, pitch clock, eliminating the shift, now a smaller strike zone? ughhh

They are all counter intuitive, you want to shorten games, yet you also want to add more offense.

Stupid stupid stupid

I suggest that they make the pitchers throw from a pit in the ground instead of a built up mound.
They're mostly pretty tall, anyway, how come they get to be higher than everybody else???

Give the umps back the giant black pad instead of the catchers gear under a shirt. When the home plate ump hides behind the left or right inside shoulder of the catcher the outside pitches don't seem to be called as consistently as the inside pitches. Which makes sense, the pitches that come right at them are accurately called but a few feet over there are a few inches of leeway. Ramp up the protection for the umps so they can dig in and make more consistent calls instead of being scared of a deflected ball.

I can understand why Baseball would mess with the strike zone. They will always mess with the rules to keep the aggregate batting average at about 0.260. However, I fear that shrinking the strike zone will just end up with more walks and less exciting at bats. Who knows?

Just let em all juice again.

If they're worried about viewers and attendance, that'd do it.

Or they could just leave the shit alone!

Bring back the Juice! It's time to see roided heads again. Or people like Conseco sweating out steroids as they talk to reporters about balls bouncing off of their heads for home runs. Bring it all back!
