MLB Game of the Night | 6/24 Giants @ Dodgers

So it seems that I haven't watched nearly enough baseball this year. I used to watch any team any night. I seem to just only be watching the Mets and that's it. Their poor play (until recently) could be the reason why I just stop watching when the game is over.

Making a short story long, I feel like I am missing things that I don't normally miss. Having said that I am going to choose one game per day to follow and post about in this thread.

I will pick based on pitching matchup. If there just doesn't seem to be one that pops out at me I will look at the standings and pick that way.

- Giants are 9-15 on the road this season
- Cardinals are 15-9 at home this season

Matt Cain is one of the more underrated pitchers in baseball. When he is on he'd be the ace of all but maybe a handful of teams.

His ERA this season is a bit on the high side but I agree. I think he is one of the better guys out there. This should be good. It will also be my first look of Shelby Miller.

I think the advantage has to be to the Cards roster wise, as Pagan is still hurt, and Pand is sitting this one out. That, and teams tend to struggle the first time they face and see an above average rookie pitcher, as Miller seems to be.
