this is a tough one... stoke has the best pitching staff in this mock, but also the worst offense... Hall is pretty balanced throughout... but i think the Bartolo Colon pick might be his downfall... if he had anyone else i think i would have voted for him...

Love Bartolo on the Indians, but he had a short prime or peak

Yea, I mean that is gonna happen as the fifth drafted SP in a league only draft. Its a shame he tore his rotator cuff year he won cy young.

nothing personal... but it doesn't help that he only had 2 seasons below 3.00 ERA and only one of those he had 200+ innings...

his CY season was a weak season and only won it because he won over 20 games... his numbers were not actually that good... and his OVERALL ERA is over 4.00

doesn't make the cut in all all time great draft IMO... you bring up WAR7 and Lefty Gomez, Gomez had a much better peak, but he didn't have 7 good seasons...

Fair but there is more to a pitcher than his ERA. And assuming this is a h2h series what do the late pitchers pitch anyway?

There prob were some better options on the board but he was a solid pitcher that did well in the peak of the steroid era. I don't mind it. Whatever.
