I think they should have waited a little longer. Because ya know that poo bowl game they lost really must have been the tipping point for a perennial loser program like Moo State.

Admittedly, I don't follow Miss St all that closely, but know Moorehead from his days at Penn St. Apparently there are a lot of off the field issues?

Possibly. But programs will look past those flaws for winners and even help you dig the dirt. They made an awful hire and are looking for an eject button.

Too bad it isn’t Tennessee. Then we would get the Gruden to Tennessee rumors again. Good times... all 3 times.

Gruden only needs 10 years at 15 million a year

Waiting for them to announce a 100 million guaranteed deal to Urban where he will accept the job and at the press conference announce he is stepping away due to health concerns and teaching classes in leadership.

They are gonna try and hire a Former Saban assistant....Billy Napier. That would make 6 former Saban Assistants as HC in the SEC.

Everybody in the SEC wants to be Alabama so they keep hiring Bama assistants. Kirby is the only one who has copied the exact blueprint and no shock he is the one having most success.

Kirby has a rich recruiting ground and that helps.
TN was a dumpster fire so Pruitt has been marginally successful.
Muschamp just doesn't have what it takes.
Cristobal just won his conference and the Rose.
If you are counting Jimbo (who really doesn't count) he won a natty

They just can't beat Saban. You can't beat Saban doing what he does because he has a massive head start so you have to be innovative.

Georgia has the best recruiting ground when taking everything into account. No true in state competition and one of the most talent rich states in the country.

They are looking at Billy Napier. Actually wouldn't mind that hire at all, he worked under Bowden, Dabo and Saban.

“Coach Moorhead was a highly-respected offensive coordinator at Penn State, but as a head coach with the Bulldogs, it’s been lackluster,” a source said. “It could be the strength of the conference or even the expectations, but it clearly wasn’t clicking.”

Not meeting expectations...

I'm good friends with a couple of guys named Moorhead. Back in the days of AIM, their usernames were Craven and Gimmie.
