Of course, owning Reed and White in our dynasty league may have colored my opinion as well.

Clearly he has an uphill battle... But what a better battle to bet on... Houston is a great place to play, AND that offense looks good... I mean that is great for those players you mentioned too, but Singleton has the first whack at it...

This is the third year we have been doing this and my teams have been so bad combined with so many injuries that I once had a player give up and retire in the middle of the season.

That is one long run on sentence.

Miller left Saturday's start at San Diego in the second inning due to cuts on his right hand. Miller tore up two of his knuckles while scraping the mound on his follow through, causing him to depart after 1 2-3 innings. The good news is this doesn't have the look of a serious injury.
