State runs allot of power over and over then sneaks a pass in here and there, if we can follow that plan we're in the hunt. Tricky part is having time to attempt a pass

We have to run on Mich St and wear down the defense. Cross on 1st &2nd Ameer on 3rd and 4th.
-------
I cannot state with a straight face that Michigan had that great of a defense. Yet they had the ball someothing like five minutes more than we did. So, with MSU, if all we can muster is another 128 yeards rushing we are screwed. Especially if we aren't using the hurry up offense.

If we pull this one out, Bo will have another convert (at least through the MSU game:rollseyes:). Unless MSU's offense is as anemic as Michigans was, I just don't see us winning.

Last year we beat them up front.

Problem is, we were healthy last year. This year we're limping badly on Offense. It's going to take a lot of yards after contact by Abdullah to sustain any kind of drives.

I just don't like how we match up in this game. Our Defense is going to really have to show up to give us a chance.

Being the dog at home might jingle their spurs a little bit. AA and IC will need to carry the team literally. State is avg giving up only like 45 yds on the ground, they have t played us yet however

How about this, run Tito out there at wing or half back, how about a little triple option or wishbone. Getting msu's line to run stretch and toss plays on the edge should slow thier roll

Michigan St's defense will literally rip Taylor's head off and shit down his neck if he runs the ball.

Not wanting him to play RB but putting him out in the flat or at wing would certainly draw a defense out of formation

Rookie QB or not, we'd better get a bit more creative offensively than what we did with Michigan. Far too many two yards and a cloud of dust straight up the middle. Won't work with MSU. Reminded me of the old Solich days.

I sure hope there aren't too many wasted drives like we saw yesterday.

Don't forget how shitty Nebraska's special teams are too.

Field position will be a big factor in a slobber-knocker.

This actually concerns me more than anything. An erratic team like ours could sure use good special teams play.
