Rebounding was a problem for the Heat again vs Dallas last night, one they must fix before the game against OKC and fix for what remains of the season. I always say the biggest problem with the Heat and rebounding is lack of effort, and that was as true as every last night - There were just far too many times where they didnt even try - They just didnt even go after the rebounds - it was shoot and go. This is why a guy like UD needs to be out there, a guy that assumes that every shot that is put up will be missed… Not some scrub like Shane Battier that is only worried about getting his.

I ask Skolnick this last night on twitter but never got a reply but against bigger teams it would be nice to see us go with Bird & Oden in spurts when Bosh get his rest to hopefully resolve some of these issues w/rebounding

A birdman/Oden combo would be fun to watch for sure. Two big guys who give a lot of effort and energy at all times.

The Heat trade Roger Mason Jr., to the Kings for a second round draft pick. This leaves the Heat with a roster spot open to fill during the March 1st buyouts. Unfortunate that another player that could contribute to the team, even in minor ways is gone… Get rid of the scrub if you really want to improve the team.

Lavoy Allen and Evan Turner traded to the Pacers for Danny Granger. This move affects the Heat in some way so that is why I bring it up.

I wonder if Philly buys out Grangers contract.. If so, Miami could make a move at him.

Granger is a quality player - as was Evan Turner, even though he hasnt fully reached his potential as of yet… I strongly doubt that they will let go of Granger even if they dont think they will contend this season.

James Jones the lone inactive tonight. Same starters which sadly still includes the useless scrub Shane Battier

Shane Battier guarding KD? Yeah the scrub is gonna get raped tonight and hes gonna like it. This cross-matchup crap doesnt always work - Spo has to realize it - especially with the scrub, he is always at a disadvantage.

Hot start for the Heat, well for LBJ, the key will be for him and the team to maintain it.

Another stellar 1st quarter for the scrub 11 minutes , 1 foul, no points.

Shane Battier holding Durant, the league leading scorer, to 1-5 and 2 points for the first quarter.

That's how you play defense

That has absolutely nothing to do with Shane - The heat as a team is playing good defense. Dont close your eyes when Shane is on Ibaka or Perkins, he gets butt-fucked every time

What does the scrub do when KD takes him inside? Foul him because he cant stop him otherwise.
