-4 at the half as Ish Smith victimizes the Heat for what now seems like a nightly end of quarter buzzer beater

And yet another buzzer beater given up by the Heat - theyve given up many of those in consecutive games before but I dont think theyve allowed it to happen multiple times in a game at least in a while.

Still, Heat +1 after 3

But a classic JJ turnover sparks an early 4th quarter run for the Pistons. Game is in the balance so JJ has no business being out there right now even with the improved offense from him tonight

That buzzer beater gave Detroit all the momentum.

Game is over now

It seemed like the Heat had a good response coming but they cant play defense without getting a foul called against them again tonight.

The Heat have to have another response after this timeout or the Pistons will deliver the final dagger

Now Heat falling apart again in final minutes and another Spo melt down running on to court for a timeout. Clearly he hasnt been addressed by the team or league about it

K.O. had a JJ moment there in trying to do too much with the clock winding down only to come up empty

Though it seems Goran may have saved the Heat for one last moment

Heat need to make the best out of this upcoming stretch where they play 10 of 14 at home. Need to win at least 9 of those games

29-24 now

Blake delivers another dagger but this time with a pass - Pretty sure his eyes lit up when he saw he had JJ on him - anyones eyes would light up with that matchup.

3 straight losses for the Heat.

This team is unpredictable this is why, not even for fun, do I care to predict game outcomes for this team. It does not matter if the game is home or way, the opponent doesnt matter -- injuries for or against them... The Heat always find a way to underwhelm.

That said, yes, Hassans absence was felt in the rebounding department -- but the stat sheet will show the Heat didnt get the job done in many other areas that have contributed to this loss.

Heat have now lost to the 8th and 9th seeds in back to back nights. Interesting. They need the reinforcements. On the positive side, they won the third quarter and our guards played well particularly Dragic on offense!! Winslow still offensively challenged. We need to get back to playing non-playoff teams!

Winslow as a starter didn't work out well. I feel like if we're gong to start him then it needs to be as the PF. Not as the SF. Would actually prefer Ellington in that position

Detroit with Blake isn't a 9th seed. Also considering how close these teams are, looking at one team as the 8th seed and another as the 9th seed isn't a good way of looking at things. These teams are close where in a week you can go from 4th to 8th or 9th.

Last Sunday, Indy was in 8th. They're going to wake up tomorrow morning in 5th.

We just need to get back to winning games. Schedule gets more favorable now. I don't think there is not another team in basketball who played 7 more road games than home games at this point of the season. Schedule and injuries been brutal. We really miss Waiters

Yep. 7th in conference now and worst offensive scoring team in the entire conference. Winslow is a good defensive player but so limited on offense.

5 games before the AS break. 3 of them at home. 2 road games are extremely tough. Need at least 3-2 and enter the AS break at 32-26. Schedule gets nice after the AS break. Play 7 of 9 at home after the break.

The only positive from the game tonight is the offense got out of that funk and actually played solid.

Detroit was +16 on the glass. Bam isn't good enough on the glass yet. Can't trade Whiteside until you fix that issue

Good news for the Heat is while they play Orlando on Monday, The Wizards and Indiana play each other then Washington and Philly the next night. Handle business against Monday and gain a game on either Washington or Indiana then a half game on the loser of the Wizards/Sixers game the following night.

Cant give up on the change after just one game. I think it will eventually be much better than anything else the Heat have tried thus far. Winslow and K.O. as starters will turn out to be a good thing eventually for the Heat.
